These light-weight Modal (Birch Tree) Mens Transition Yoga Shorts are a "hybrid" short merging the distance between our two most popular shorts -- the Fusion Short and the Eco-Track Short.
These French-Terry mid-thigh shorts are meant to be form-fitting yet still provide the convenience of front pockets that are sewn on TOP of the garment so they do not bunch up inside the short, nor float about. There is 1" of 2x1 RIB piping that extends from the sides up & above the rear-end -- providing stability & flexibility during workouts!
Criss-cross stitching in bamboo green on the drawcord tips -- which is 1/2" tubular draw cord. Perfect for tightening the shorts if needed, while the elastic waistband provides relaxed comfort.
Ideal for all sports including Yoga, Hiking, Climbing, and Crossfit Training.
SIZING GUIDE: For size Small you could be up to about 5'10. They have a 5" inseam. With drawcord you could be quite slim (26-27" waist) and they should still work for you. For the normal, athletic build, you would achieve the "model-type" look if you are 5'8 & 140 lbs or 5'11 & 155 lbs. For the MEDIUM you could be 5'8 & 155 lbs or 6'1 & 175 lbs. If you have a heavier build or want a more "relaxed" fit, then go one size UP. (chart measurements provided above).

I bought a pair of 4-rth's transition yoga shorts for the first time recently after searching far and wide for shorts that don't look and feel like everything else. Most other shorts are just the same-old but these check a lot of boxes: fit (snug but not too and they show off your thighs), design, details like stitching, tags, and ties, fabric that stretches where you do. Someone at 4-rth has thought a lot about what the shorts are supposed to do and how they're going to look on a body. I just bought another transition short and a pair of tactical urban at home dress pant yoga pants. Great fit and just as nice as the transition short. Love the fit, design, and fabric.
I bought my first pair of 4rth Fusion Shorts for hot yoga many years ago, but have since been wearing them to the gym, around town, and hanging out at home. They’ve been perfect for all activities, but sometimes you need to carry essentials of life like a credit card, drivers license, or phone. Time to swap the Fusions for 4rth Transition Shorts!
Imagine Fusion Shorts with pockets. Transition Shorts retain the same body conforming perfect fit, are made with the same incredibly soft birch fabric, and are wonderful for all the same yoga/gym activities, but the addition of pockets makes them more practical for daily around-town wear.
I was afraid pockets would make the shorts too lumpy, but they are sewn on top of the base layer, so if you can keep your load to a minimum, they’ll ride relatively flat. The addition of a drawstring keeps the shorts up, even carrying a heavy phone.
Transition shorts have become my preferred summer around-town wear, so I just ordered another couple pairs in additional colors.

Hello, Just wanted you to know that your shorts are the most comfortable, I use at gym work and lounging. Have some from 3 years ago and are in prefect condition, with no fading or stretching. Keep up the good work and quality. Eric
